Wietersdorfer Goes Down Under – next step in internationalization to Australia

The Wietersdorfer Group acquires 75.1 percent of the shares in the Australian GRP pipe manufacturer, RPC Pipe Systems, via its subsidiary Amiblu Australia Ltd. The Carinthian family-owned company thus secures the Australian market and strengthens its market presence in the Asia-Pacific region. With this acquisition, the Wietersdorfer Group is now active with production sites in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Australia.

Go International 2022 – a WIN-WIN situation for all!

In 2022, five female students and one male student were able to visit five of our subsidiaries and get to know the country, the people and the respective companies on site, within the framework of clearly defined projects. Internships were offered in Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, France and Norway.

A year ago, we revitalized our power plant chain in the Görtschitz Valley and brought it up to the state of the art. In 2022, wood dust combustion was started at the Peggau lime plant with the aim of reducing both CO2 emissions and dependence on gas. At the same time, several large-scale PV plants went and are going into operation in Austria, Spain and Slovenia.
