FOSSIL FUELS WILL SOON BE A THING OF THE PAST RECYCLING Waste products usually accumulate during the processing of limestone to make high-quality products for agriculture and industry. The Slovenian company Intercal has developed a high-quality by-product for agriculture from production waste in order to use the material wisely in the value-added cycle. ‟It’s the task of the entire industry to use resources sparingly. That’s why we’re pleased we’ve been able to develop a product for regional agriculture and promote the recycling economy using waste,” explains Managing Director, Maridi Sikovšek. The new product consists of the unburnt lime particles that are normally separated off during the production process.
