LIME SUCCESS IN THE BATTLE AGAINST DUST A large amount of dust is scattered naturally during the production of lime products and is handled in the same way as fine flour. Intercal Croatia, a specialist in lime products for industry and agriculture, has successfully put up the fight against dust to ensure clean ambient air at its Croatian location in Sirač, both in production and during loading and transport. More than 220,000 euros were invested in the project, which tackled several areas. In 2017, the roof and facade of the silos at the factory premises were completely renewed and sealed. Between 2016 and 2019, a new filter system was also installed on the screen and the conveyor belts. And the truck loading area was moved to a closed building. This means that residents, employees, and through traffic are no longer irritated by dust emissions.
