SEGMENTS Cement & Concrete | The Cement & Concrete business segment is managed under the umbrella brand Alpacem. In Austria, it includes w&p Zement and w&p Beton. There are also the Salonit Anhovo and Rokava plants in Slovenia, plus w&p Cementi and Friulana Calcestruzzi in Italy Lime | As of 2021, the lime activities of Wietersdorfer are combined under the umbrella brand Intercal. Intercal comprises the three lime companies Intercal Austria, Intercal Slovenija plus its subsidiary, Apnenec, and Intercal Croatia in Croatia. PP pipe systems | POLOPLAST, one of the most innovative producers of thermoplastic pipes for drainage technology and infrastructure, has been owned by Wietersdorfer since 1955. GRP pipe systems | Wietersdorfer has been active in the production of glass fiber-reinforced plastic pipes since 1972. The business segment comprises the two industry leaders: Hobas Pipe USA and the 50/50 joint venture Amiblu. Industrial minerals | In the industrial minerals sector, Wietersdorfer holds a 50% share in Calcit, a Slovenian producer of calcium carbonate pigments, fillers and granulates for the paper, paint and plastics industry.
