Knoch, Kern & Co. KG, a 100% family-owned company, is the owner and holding company for Wietersdorfer. In addition to setting the company group’s the strategic course, the owners’ most important responsibilities include shaping corporate governance, which hands down the company’s leadership structures and codes of behavior, as well as maintaining the family governance which strengthens the business family upon which Wietersdorfer is built.
Generations of Trust
As owners, we are thankful and proud that 125 years after our first industrial undertaking – of a cement factory in Wietersdorf – through generations of forward-looking entrepreneurship, we have created an international and diversified construction infrastructure business group. Over the course of our history, we had the courage to change, and overcame many challenges thanks to our stamina, consistency, and solidarity. Being rooted in our region and a down-to-earth attitude have been, and continue to be, as important as constant striving for innovation.

Company Components
The Company Board acts as a condensed shareholder’s meeting and is the company’s strategic and decision-making committee.
Its members lead the company and serve as a link between the owners and the group’s companies.
